Job Description A leading provider of electrical and mechanical contracting services, specializing in commercial new construction projects, is seeking a Commercial Electrical Estimator to join its corporate team at the Lititz, PA campus. This role is integral in preparing accurate and competitive bids for commercial electrical projects,. The Commercial Electrical Estimator will analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to develop cost estimates that align with project requirements and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cost estimation of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems for commercial new construction projects that align with business goals.
• Develop conceptual designs for design/build projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions that meet client specifications.
• Create initial sketches and drawings to be processed by CAD operators for detailed drafting.
• Prepare and present detailed written proposals, effectively communicating scope, pricing, and specifications to clients.
• Lead negotiation efforts and conduct ongoing follow-ups with clients to secure project bids.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful completion of projects, coordinating with engineering, construction, and sales departments.
• Share resources and insights with other estimators, including site visits, contractor relationships, and bid calendar updates.

Key Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in electrical trade estimation, specifically for commercial new construction projects.
• Strong ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, design drawings, and project documentation for accurate cost assessments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for proposal documentation and cost calculations.
• Familiarity with estimation software, such as Bluebeam and Trimble Estimation, is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of general construction practices, the National Electric Code (NEC), and

NFPA 70E

standards.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present proposals clearly to clients.
• A valid driver's license for travel to project sites or client meetings.
• Ability to provide documentation evidencing identity and employment authorization per Federal I-9 requirements.
