We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team and help us continue to grow through accurate and competitive bidding.Job Summary:
The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, labor costs, and construction processes.Key Responsibilities:
Review and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and related documents. Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes. Prepare and submit bids on time, ensuring compliance with all bid requirements. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to refine bids and ensure clarity. Assist in value engineering and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Maintain historical cost data and update pricing as necessary.Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator (minimum 3 years preferred). Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices. Knowledge of Accubid estimating software is strongly preferred. Proficiency in alternate estimating software considered. Familiar with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and negotiation abilities.Preferred:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field OR equal professional experience.+ Experience with commercial project bidding.Benefits:
