Job Description

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our growing Lewiston team. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience preparing complete, accurate project estimates while working alongside experienced operations and preconstruction leaders. What You'll Do Participate in pre-bid meetings, scope reviews, site walk-throughs, and project discussions Prepare accurate, detailed estimates and proposals for commercial and industrial projects Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and related documents Perform takeoffs and quantity entries using estimating tools Interpret electrical systems and drawings (lighting, controls, power distribution, fire alarm, etc.) Assist with maintaining bid log and report to Chief Estimator Use Accubid (or similar software) to develop organized, complete estimates Identify discrepancies or gaps in project documents and raise questions early Work closely with contractors, engineers, architects, vendors, and customers Communicate with local suppliers to secure accurate, competitive pricing Track and distribute addenda and updates throughout the bid process Support the handoff of awarded work to project management
