Overview Join our dynamic team as a Construction Estimator and become a vital driver of successful project execution! In this energetic role, you will leverage your construction industry experience to accurately assess project costs, interpret technical drawings, and develop comprehensive estimates for construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Duties Review and interpret construction blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine material and labor requirements. Utilize estimating software and other construction management tools to prepare detailed cost estimates. Conduct material cost estimating by analyzing blueprints and technical documents to identify necessary materials and quantities. Manage project budgets by tracking costs, controlling expenses, and updating estimates as project scopes evolve. Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. Skills Extensive experience with Bluebeam and other estimating or construction management software. Strong ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel spreadsheets for detailed cost analysis and reporting. Excellent negotiation skills to secure materials and services at optimal prices while fostering positive vendor relationships. Deep understanding of construction estimating processes including material requirements estimation, cost management, and budget estimation. Knowledge of contracts, change order procedures, and legal aspects related to construction projects. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
