5/2 Schedule (Hybrid work environment (office and field)Hierarchy Breakdown:
Reports to: This is a hybrid position requiring time in both the office and the field to evaluate project conditions, meet with clients, and support estimating efforts. Estimators will have Knowledge and Ability to Perform theFollowing:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for pipeline and civil construction projects. Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents. Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, equipment, and material estimates. Conduct site visits to evaluate project conditions. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing. Prepare bid proposals and assist with contract negotiations. Work closely with project managers, operations, and clients throughout the bidding process. Track estimating costs and maintaining historical pricing databases. Ensure estimates align with project schedules and company objectives.Mandatory Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in the construction industry.Experience estimating:
Pipeline construction, Civil construction, Site work, Underground utilities Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Direct project support from pre-construction through award. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the Permian Basin.Benefits:
