Responsibilities Prepare detailed electrical estimates for construction projects using digital tools and estimating software. Review drawings, specs, and addenda to perform accurate material and labor takeoffs. Solicit and analyze vendor and subcontractor quotes to support competitive bids. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and operations to refine scopes and budgets. Develop complete bid packages, cost breakdowns, and value engineering options. Participate in pre-bid meetings and clarify technical and scope-related questions. Maintain and update pricing databases, production rates, and historical cost records. Support handoff to project teams and track estimate performance versus actuals. Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools.
