The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of project management and estimation within the landfill service sector, specifically with experience in gas extraction systems, leachate piping systems, pumps, and electrical control systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time within scope and budget.

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN ENGINEERING, CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT OR RELATED FIELD.

Landfill Project Manager /

Estimator Responsibilities:

Lead the estimation process for new projects, including design-build and installations, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial concept to completion, ensuring projects meet or exceed client expectations. Coordinate with engineers, designers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met. Oversee the installation and maintenance of landfill gas extraction and leachate piping systems, pumps, and electrical control systems. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management and estimation, preferably in the landfill service industry or related fields. Strong knowledge of landfill gas extraction systems, leachate piping systems, pumps, and electrical control systems. Proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
