Blue Harbor Fire Suppression, LLC is seeking an experienced, motivated Fire Sprinkler Estimator to join our growing team.

$60,000

• 90,000 per year, depending on experience We are looking for a turn-key estimator who understands the fire sprinkler industry and can independently take a project from bid invitation through a complete, accurate estimate.

This is not an entry-level estimating position. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where communication and teamwork are essential. Experience with fire sprinkler estimating software is important; however, experience with our specific platform is not required. The right candidate should be comfortable learning and adapting to our estimating process. Responsibilities Review construction drawings, specifications, addenda, bid documents, and project requirements. Prepare accurate and competitive fire sprinkler estimates for new construction and other fire protection projects. Perform material takeoffs and determine labor, equipment, subcontractor, permit, and other project costs. Identify scope requirements, exclusions, potential conflicts, and items requiring clarification. Prepare complete bid proposals and scope information. Review bid invitations and determine project requirements and bidding deadlines. Communicate with general contractors, vendors, subcontractors, project managers, designers, and internal team members. Request pricing and coordinate with suppliers as needed. Review addenda and incorporate changes into estimates before bid submission. Attend pre-bid meetings and travel to project sites to perform job walks when necessary . Assist with estimate handoff after project award. Maintain organized estimating records and project documentation. Follow up on bids and communicate project information with the team. Work collaboratively with estimating, operations, administration, design, and field personnel. Help identify potential bidding opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of the company. What We Are Looking For We need someone who can hit the ground running .

The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience estimating fire sprinkler/fire protection systems . Strong understanding of fire sprinkler construction, materials, labor, and installation practices. Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, mechanical, and fire protection plans and specifications. Experience performing fire sprinkler material takeoffs and developing complete project estimates. Strong computer skills and experience working with estimating software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to communicate professionally and confidently with everyone from field personnel and vendors to general contractors and company leadership. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously. Ability to work independently without requiring constant supervision. Strong attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of assigned bids. A positive attitude and willingness to be a team player . Ability and willingness to travel for jobsite walks, pre-bid meetings, and other project-related needs. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. NICET certification is preferred but not required. Relevant fire sprinkler industry experience and demonstrated estimating ability will also be strongly considered.
