JUNIOR ESTIMATOR | Hybrid | Tampa Bay Corridor | Full-Time

THE ROLE

We are hiring a Junior Estimator to support our estimating pipeline. This is a hybrid position — primarily remote, with required in-office time for collaboration, training, and coordination in the Dade City / Tampa Bay area. This role will never be 100% remote . You will work directly with the owner/lead estimator, handling quantity takeoffs, bid assembly, and pricing support across active bids. The long-term expectation is that you grow into owning full estimates independently within 2-3 years.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural and structural plan sets Assemble and maintain bid packages and scope sheets Update and maintain the company unit cost library Coordinate material pricing with vendors and suppliers Track bid invitations, deadlines, and subcontractor follow-ups Organize plan sets, RFIs, and addenda across active bids Support the lead estimator with preliminary budgets and conceptual pricing Maintain accurate records in Stack CT estimating software

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Degree or coursework in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field — OR equivalent hands-on experience Hands-on experience with Stack CT estimating software (required) Strong attention to detail and ability to read structural and architectural drawings Reliable, self-directed work ethic in a remote-primary environment Located within the Tampa Bay corridor (Tampa to Ocala range) — must be available for required in-office time and meetings Preferred Familiarity with concrete, masonry, or structural subcontracting scopes Understanding of Division 3 and Division 4 work (cast-in-place concrete, CMU, reinforcing) Experience working with or for a subcontractor in residential or light commercial construction

COMPENSATION & GROWTH

Starting Pay $18 - $25/hr, depending on experience Schedule Full-time; fixed work hours with defined deliverable checkpoints Growth Path Clear trajectory to Senior Estimator role within 1-3 years based on accuracy and performance benchmarks Work Style Hybrid (remote-primary with required in-office collaboration )
