We're looking for a strong estimator who can help us price work accurately, protect margin, and set projects up for clean execution in the field. Position Summary We are seeking a mid-level to upper-level Landscape Construction Estimator with 3 to 5 years of experience estimating residential landscape construction projects. This person should understand the full scope of residential landscape construction, from sitework and drainage to hardscape, planting, irrigation, lighting, and finishing details. This role is responsible for turning plans, field information, and client expectations into accurate, organized, and profitable estimates. A strong candidate knows that an estimate is not just a price, it is the foundation of the job plan. The right person will help ensure projects are sold clearly, handed off cleanly, and set up for operational success. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely estimates for residential landscape construction projects Review plans, specifications, takeoffs, site conditions, and scope details before pricing Build estimates for all phases of residential landscape construction, including: Sitework and grading Drainage Hardscape and masonry Planting and softscape Irrigation Landscape lighting Outdoor living features and related amenities Develop detailed proposals with clear scope, assumptions, exclusions, and allowances Verify labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and vendor pricing Coordinate with suppliers to confirm product availability, lead times, and pricing Identify missing information, scope gaps, or risk items before proposals go out Work closely with sales, design, and operations to support smooth handoff from estimate to production Update estimate revisions as scope changes or client decisions evolve Help maintain estimating templates, assemblies, and pricing standards Support post-job review by comparing estimated scope and budgets against field reality when needed
