POSITION
Canyon State Electric is seeking an experienced Mission Critical Estimator to price data center and critical facility work for one of Arizona's fastest-growing electrical contractors. This role is available fully remote from anywhere in the U.S., or hybrid out of our Phoenix office- your choice.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead detailed electrical estimates for mission-critical projects- hyperscale and colocation data centers, and adjacent critical facilities
- from conceptual budget through final bid. Estimate other large, complex projects between mission-critical pursuits, including industrial, cold storage, clean room, healthcare, and aviation work. Perform digital takeoff and pricing for medium
- and low-voltage distribution, switchgear, generators and paralleling gear, UPS, busway, PDU/RPP, grounding, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
- including in virtual bid reviews and interviews.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of electrical estimating experience, including at least 2 years estimating mission-critical or data center work- or comparable mission-critical field/project management experience combined with estimating. Track record of owning large, complex electrical estimates from concept through award, with responsibility for the final number. Experience estimating across multiple commercial or industrial market sectors
- industrial, cold storage, clean room, healthcare, or aviation
- is a plus. Strong working knowledge of power distribution, standby and emergency power, UPS topologies, redundancy concepts (N+1, 2N), and applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 110). Proficiency with electrical estimating software
- ConEst, Accubid, McCormick, or similar; ConEst experience preferred.
