Job Description
Job Summary NC Millwork, Inc. is looking for an experienced Moziak cabinet software user who can also handle construction estimating to join our team remotely. This position is ideal for someone who understands cabinetry and architectural millwork, is highly proficient in Moziak cabinet software, its custom libraries, part creation, and can accurately interpret architectural and construction drawings. The primary responsibilities will be estimating projects and producing/maintaining cabinet drawings for client and construction submissions, and making any necessary revisions to the drawings so they are ready for production Duties Produce accurate cabinet and millwork drawings using Moziak cabinet software Review architectural plans, elevations, details, specifications, and construction documents Prepare accurate material and labor estimates for cabinetry and millwork projects Review project plans and identify scope, quantities, dimensions, materials, and potential conflicts Prepare drawings and submittals for GC/client approval Revise drawings based on client, architect, or field feedback Make final drawing adjustments prior to production Communicate with project management and production to ensure drawings accurately reflect the approved scope Assist with takeoffs and pricing for new projects Maintain organized project files and documentation Identify discrepancies or missing information before projects move into production Requirements Strong proficiency in Moziak cabinet software Ability to accurately read and interpret architectural and construction blueprints Experience with cabinet, casework, millwork, or architectural woodworking Strong understanding of cabinet construction, materials, dimensions, and hardware Experience preparing estimates, takeoffs, or project pricing Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely Strong written and verbal communication skills
