Job Description

Position Title:
Outside Sales Specialist Home Office:
Milwaukee, WI Brief Summary:
Working remotely based out of the MainStage Milwaukee office providing excellent customer service through the quotation of MainStage products to walk-in, phone, web, and project related customers. Daily duties include responding to phone inquiries, reviewing bid documents including written specifications and drawings, traveling to customers' locations for site visits and meetings.
Duties:
  • Offsite sales calls and customer meetings.
  • Review of electronic and hard copy specifications and plans as required for public and private bid and design build process.
  • Preparation of estimation spreadsheets, bill of materials and PDF Quotations.
  • Maintain profitability on quoted and bid projects by correctly estimating material and labor necessary.
  • Interface with Project Team to ensure seamless transfer of a project from quotation to project status.
  • File maintenance of spreadsheets and quotation documentation as directed by management.
  • Respond to web and email requests to develop quotations.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, assist walk-in customers and work with email and web inquiries.
  • Work as a team with office staff to share product knowledge.
  • Use of the company accounting system Acumatica
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
  • Knowledge of theatrical equipment, practices and procedures is desired.
  • Basic math skills including but not limited to addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
  • Advanced computer skills including Outlook, Excel, Word & Bluebeam PDF Software.
  • Knowledge and ability to read and interpret theatrical, electrical and architectural plans.
  • Ability to work with or without supervision and make sound decisions based on guidelines established by management.
  • High degree of professionalism when dealing with customers and co-workers.
  • Leading workshops for the education of customers in office, on-site or at conventions
  • Work with the sales team to develop appropriate convention booth (these shows could include various USITT, SETC and
LDI 2027
in New Orleans
  • Work with marketing team for appropriate advertising and website designs (note marketing team is not in place currently) Condition(s) of

  • Clean driving record for coverage under company auto insurance
  • Pass required security clearances
  • Pre-employment background screening and drug testing.
  • Employees will not engage in competing business during this time, including directly or indirectly working for or selling for industry competition.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
