ABOUT THE ROLE
- The Project Cost Engineer is responsible for the cost and estimating functions, including budget control and change management for the project. The PCE is focused on project cash flow and cost analysis to ensure accurate and timely project funding and forecasting.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- + Create a Cost-Controlling Report and reporting system for approval + Prepare reports based on design and/or construction cost estimates and provide updates at regular intervals + Monitor and control the application of funds available for the project cash flow, cost analysis, variation orders, payments and other major financial factors, principally by comparing funds available, funds expended, funds approved but not yet expended and funds required for approval in the future.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education:
Bachelor's Degree +Field of Study Preferred:
Accounting, Finance, construction Management, or other business-related field. + 5-7 years of experience in a sophisticated corporate environment. + Job costing or construction accounting experience is required. + Manufacturing industry experience is preferred. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite + Experience working with Procore or other project management software +Travel:
occasional, but regular overnight travel to the project site for meetings and presentationsAdditional Requirements:
- + Have familiarity with contract administration and contract management related to engineering and construction projects (AIA, etc.
