Overview This full-time Project Manager / Estimator role is a hybrid position based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with some work-from-home flexibility. The role is responsible for managing luxury retail façade and fit out projects from initial concept through completion, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed cost estimates, tracking project financials, overseeing procurement and expediting of materials, and coordinating logistics to ensure on-time delivery. The Project Manager / Estimator will monitor quality, support inspections, anticipate risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects aligned with client expectations and contractual requirements. The role also involves maintaining clear communication with clients, designers, suppliers, and site teams, and contributing to process improvements and best practices. Qualifications Project management skills, including Project Management experience, schedule and budget oversight, and stakeholder coordination. Expeditor and Expediting skills to manage procurement, track orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials and components. Logistics Management skills to plan transport, sequencing, and site deliveries for complex, multi-phase projects. Inspection and quality control skills to support site inspections, verify workmanship, and ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Experience in construction, façade systems, retail fit out, or related fields, ideally with luxury or high-end projects. Strong analytical and numerical skills for cost estimating, value engineering, and financial tracking. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary, international teams. Proficiency with project management and estimating tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, specialized construction software) and general digital literacy. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
