We specialize in emergency water damage mitigation, fire damage restoration, mold remediation, contents restoration, reconstruction, and insurance repairs. We are looking for an experienced Insurance Restoration Estimator to join our growing office team. This position plays a critical role in helping homeowners recover after disasters by producing accurate, detailed insurance estimates and working closely with project managers, technicians, insurance adjusters, and customers. This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have previous Xactimate estimating experience and understand the restoration and reconstruction industry. Compensation & Benefits $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (DOE) Full-time position Monday-Friday Paid holidays Paid vacation 401(k) Health Benefits coming 2027 Company laptop and monitor Professional development opportunities Opportunity for advancement into senior estimating or management roles Position Overview The Insurance Restoration Estimator is responsible for inspecting damaged properties, documenting losses, preparing detailed Xactimate estimates, communicating with insurance adjusters, and supporting production teams throughout the restoration process. This position works directly under the Estimating Manager and will collaborate daily with mitigation, contents, repair, sales, and administrative staff. The first 60-90 days will be in our Nampa office for onboarding and training. After demonstrating consistent performance and management approval, there may be an opportunity for a hybrid or remote work schedule. Primary Responsibilities Perform onsite inspections of residential and commercial properties Create detailed Xactimate estimates for: Water damage Fire and smoke damage Mold remediation Contents restoration Reconstruction and repairs Create accurate floor plans and sketches Complete Matterport scans when required Build complete project scopes using proper restoration procedures Write accurate line items with proper justification Review estimates for completeness and profitability Submit estimates to insurance carriers Negotiate supplements with adjusters Respond to carrier requests and revisions Maintain organized digital job files Work with project managers to ensure estimates match field conditions Review technician documentation and photographs Assist with project budgeting and cost tracking Communicate professionally with customers, adjusters, vendors, and internal staff Follow company estimating standards and workflow procedures Required Qualifications Minimum Requirements Minimum 1 year of insurance restoration estimating experience Xactimate experience is
