At Koala Insulation of Northern Illinois, we are looking for an experienced, driven individual with a background in sales to estimate insulation projects with the goal of a one-visit close. The ideal candidate will have a background in consultative sales and will work with customers to understand their needs and sell them insulation solutions. The compensation for this job is very exciting - you will be a salary employee with a minimum base pay of $55,000 plus a promising commission of 3%, and an additional bonus opportunity. Required skills:

Proven track record of exceptional sales ability. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Strong mathematical skills with a focus on calculating area, slope, board feet, and material costs. Willingness and ability to learn technical product data and code requirements. Effective time management skills. Valid Driver's license with clear driving record Ability to pass criminal background check. Authorized to work in the U.S. Prior Consultative Sales experience preferred.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards preferred, but not required. Training will be provided. Experience using a CRM preferred. Ability to interpret blueprints is a bonus.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of walking, standing, crouching, and maneuvering through attics and crawlspaces. Must be able to access and navigate the jobsite. Jobsite environment may be subject to high and/or low temperatures, confined spaces, and heights. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.

Duties:

Travel to residential, commercial, and government sites to complete the estimation process for our insulation services. Make a thorough inspection of the work site including crawl spaces and attics. Lead generation and data input into CRM. Use product samples, support, and technology to assist you in closing the sale. Networking to build contractor relationships within territory Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment required for insulation projects. Maintain accurate records of all estimates and related documentation in CRM. Utilize computer software programs and spreadsheets to assist in the estimation process. Performs other related duties as required.
