Hybrid Pay:

$175,000-$275,000/year We are looking for a Senior Estimator to help win complex heavy civil and underground utility projects throughout Southern California. This is a great opportunity for an estimator who enjoys building competitive bids, working with operations and project teams, and playing a key role in securing new projects. What You'll Do Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates Estimate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and self-performed work Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Analyze project risks and constructability Develop production rates and equipment spreads Prepare complete bid packages Review plans, specifications, and contract documents Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits Prepare bid summaries and pricing recommendations Support project teams with change orders and additional work Work closely with Project Managers, Operations, subcontractors, vendors, and public agencies What We're Looking For 5+ years of estimating experience Heavy civil, underground utility, or infrastructure construction background Experience estimating water, wastewater, sewer, pipeline, or underground utility projects Experience bidding California public works projects Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and production rates Experience with HeavyBid Ability to read civil drawings, specifications, and contracts Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent communication skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field Preferred Experience Caltrans or municipal/public agency bidding Southern California public works projects City of Los Angeles or LACSD experience Prevailing wage / DIR requirements Project Management or Business Development experience Why Consider This Opportunity?
