This role focuses on new construction and established builder and company accounts , working on a wide range of projects including windows, shower doors, mirrors, and specialty/custom glass . Key Responsibilities Review plan sets and specifications for new construction projects Perform accurate material takeoffs and cost estimates Bid and manage company accounts and contractor relationships Estimate a variety of scopes: Residential windows (new construction) Shower doors (standard and custom) Mirrors Replacement glass (double pane units) Specialty/custom glass projects Coordinate with sales, project management, and operations Communicate clearly with customers regarding scope, options, and pricing Ensure projects are set up for efficient production and installation Qualifications Experience in window/glass estimating or construction estimating preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans Strong attention to detail and accuracy Organized with the ability to manage multiple bids Strong communication and customer service skills Knowledge of takeoff processes and pricing structures Team-oriented with a problem-solving mindset Schedule & Flexibility Flexible weekday schedule (Monday-Friday) Hybrid work option: in-office and/or home office Focus on meeting deadlines, managing bids, and strong communication Compensation & Benefits $50,000 - $100,000+ Base Salary DOE Plus Commissions and Bonus Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Profit sharing Stable, year-round work Growth opportunities Strong team environment
