We are based in Rapid City, South Dakota, and are here for the long haul. We are looking for the best Senior Building Estimator in the area to join our team to work on commercial projects around the Rapid City area. We offer immediate growth and training potential for workers dedicated to their craft. Candidates must have construction experience and be willing to travel within a one hour radius of Rapid City. Job Description/Duties

• Lead all estimating activities required to bid a variety of commercial building construction projects.
• Review construction documents and specifications as they relate to all trades required for construction of projects as well as attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work.
• Complete accurate and concise estimates of required labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors needed to complete each project.
• Draft RFI's, and identify issues that require clarification.
• Review, analyze, and qualify incoming quotes for monetary and scope accuracy.
• Visit project sites to understand specific site conditions/restrictions.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with all subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in finding and procuring new bid opportunities/projects to pursue. Requirements/Responsibilities
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, material pricing, and civil engineering and construction principles.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial building project estimating.
• Willing to work long hours and weekends, when necessary.
• Effective communication, time management, and leadership skills.
• Required to follow all Safety Handbook guidelines.
