. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Manager/ Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the planning and execution of construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires strong skills in construction management, negotiation, and project management, as well as proficiency with industry-standard software tools. Responsibilities Analyze and scope jobs and write the estimate mainly using xacactinalysis or other estimating software. Prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects. Utilize in house software to create detailed estimates and manage project data effectively. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to assess project requirements and develop comprehensive estimates. Conduct site visits to gather information on existing conditions, materials, and labor needs. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing and terms. Monitor ongoing projects for cost control, ensuring that budgets are adhered to throughout the construction process. Prepare detailed reports on estimated costs versus actual expenditures for review by management. Maintain organized records of all estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects. Manage costs, budgets, subs and complete customer satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in project estimating within the construction industry is preferred. Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices. Proficiency in estimating software such xactimate, hover, docusketch. PSA is highly desirable. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail in pricing and cost control measures. Ability to negotiate effectively with various stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, and clients. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear reporting and collaboration with team members. A background in project management is beneficial but not mandatory.
