This position requires someone who can immediately begin bidding demolition projects and then manage the work after award . Estimating experience is required. This is not a traditional project management role where estimating is handled by someone else. The person in this position will be responsible for evaluating opportunities, preparing estimates, developing scopes and budgets, submitting bids, and then running awarded projects through completion. Responsibilities Estimate commercial and industrial demolition projects Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and site conditions Perform quantity takeoffs Develop labor, equipment, trucking, disposal, recycling, subcontractor, and project overhead costs Attend site walks and pre-bid meetings Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Prepare scopes of work, proposals, budgets, and bid submissions Identify recycling, salvage, and material recovery opportunities Manage awarded projects from mobilization through completion Coordinate field crews, equipment, trucking, subcontractors, and disposal Track production, schedules, costs, and project profitability Manage change orders, billing, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation Communicate directly with owners, general contractors, engineers, and consultants Maintain company safety and quality standards Required Qualifications Demolition estimating experience is required Must be capable of independently preparing and submitting demolition bids Project management experience in demolition, industrial construction, heavy civil, or a closely related field Strong understanding of demolition means and methods Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications Experience building complete project estimates and budgets Strong cost-control and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple bids and active projects Strong communication and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel as needed What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Opportunity to help grow our Memphis operation Ability to take projects from initial estimate through final completion Exposure to major commercial and industrial demolition projects Career advancement opportunities Travel opportunities Benefits available after 180 days of employment Perdomo Worldwide works across demolition, remediation, industrial redevelopment, and environmental risk transfer.
