We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects and providing detailed proposals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project estimation, and cost control.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Utilize construction estimating software such as Builder Trend to create detailed project estimates
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify potential cost-saving measures
• Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and make adjustments as necessary
• Prepare and present detailed proposals to clients, including pricing breakdowns and project timelines
• Maintain accurate records of all estimates, proposals, and contracts

Experience:

• Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Bluebeam
• Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
