This position will build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Background in estimating, ability to work jointly with Engineering, Procurement, and fabrication are essential to project success. Works with customers from point of receiving their RFQ through shipment and invoicing Service and support the needs of our customers while coordinating with a fabrication facility that works on a 24/7 basis Build new relationships with potential customers and strengthen existing relationships by providing exceptional customer service Follow progress of ongoing projects and report status to customers Serve as liaison between customers and internal departments Maintain proper project documentation Prepare and monitor project schedules Provide and/or support project cost estimates Experience working with Engineering Firms/Capital Projects a Plus Knowledge, skills and abilities Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred Five years sales, estimating, fabrication, or strong mechanical background Exceptional customer service skills Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of employees, engineers, subcontracts, and suppliers Excellent computer skills with Microsoft based programs, such as Outlook and Excel Experience communicating via customer online portals Ability to work flexible work hours as needed Strong organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple ongoing projects Problem solving abilities Excellent technical communication skills Physical requirements Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time; walk, bend, stoop and lift up to 20pounds. Works in a climate-controlled environment.
