Job Description
Full-time, in-office | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Occasional additional time may be necessary to meet bid deadlines. A&A Landscape is seeking a Project Coordinator / Estimator to join our commercial landscape construction team. This position combines estimating, preconstruction, and project coordination responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have construction-related experience and be organized, motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Commercial landscape, construction, or estimating experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong construction or project coordination background. Responsibilities Review construction plans, specifications, scopes, bid documents, and completed takeoffs Prepare complete estimates for commercial landscape and irrigation projects Develop pricing for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project requirements Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Identify missing scope, discrepancies, and potential project issues Prepare and submit complete bid proposals, including pricing, scope, clarifications, and exclusions Track bid invitations, deadlines, addenda, RFIs, and bid requirements Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, customers, and internal team members Assist with the transition of awarded projects from estimating to production Coordinate project documentation, change orders, submittals, and other project requirements Track outstanding items and follow up to keep projects and bids moving Help organize estimating schedules, priorities, bid assignments, and workflow Qualifications Construction, landscape construction, estimating, project coordination, or related experience preferred Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications Strong organizational, computer, mathematical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple estimates, projects, and deadlines Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and follow-through Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and learn new processes quickly Commercial landscape and irrigation experience is a plus. Estimating experience is preferred but not required for a candidate with the right construction background and ability to learn.
