Job Summary We are seeking an outgoing and detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful planning, budgeting, and execution of schools, medical, municipal and commercial construction projects. In this role, you will leverage your construction industry experience to accurately estimate project costs, manage client relationships, and oversee project progress from inception to completion. Your expertise in construction estimating software, blueprint reading, and cost management will be essential in delivering projects on time and within budget. Duties Prepare detailed project estimates by analyzing blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications using OST estimating software. Manage the entire project lifecycle from initial bidding through project delivery, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards. Develop accurate material cost estimates by interpreting construction drawings and reviewing construction management software data. Negotiate contracts with clients. Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates, and address concerns through effective communication. Review construction drawings for accuracy, identify potential issues early, and collaborate with design teams to resolve discrepancies. Utilize construction site experience to oversee on-site activities, ensure safety compliance, and facilitate smooth project execution. Maintain detailed records of project progress, change orders, and cost reports using spreadsheets (Excel). Qualifications Proven experience managing projects as a construction estimator with a strong background in commercial construction estimating. Proficiency in OST estimating software along with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately. Strong negotiation skills for contracts. Ability to read and review construction drawings thoroughly while identifying potential issues or discrepancies. Construction site experience combined with a solid understanding of safety protocols and on-site operations. Effective client communication skills to build relationships and facilitate project success. Familiarity with contracts management including scope of work, change orders, and cost control measures. Pay:

$75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
