Qualifications Job Description 3D Mechanical Service Company is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Construction Plumbing Estimator to assist in accurately preparing cost estimates for commercial construction projects. This role works closely with our Senior Estimator and Project Managers to ensure project bids are competitive yet profitable and are accurate to the drawings and specs. Responsibilities Review and decipher construction drawings, blueprints and project specifications to determine project requirements. Learn and utilize estimating software, QuoteSoft, to provide detailed and accurate bids to our customers. Work in Dropbox to create project folders and organize project documents. Send out pricing requests to our vendors for material and equipment. Learn and utilize PDF software, Nitro, to split drawings. Ensure adherence to project specs and quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience or internship in commercial construction, with a focus on plumbing systems preferred. Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook). Knowledge of construction management software including Procore, Bluebeam, and other project management tools. Strong understanding of construction site operations, safety standards, and contract administration processes. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects. Effective communication skills for coordinating between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Salary will be based upon experience.
