Nacogdoches, Texas We are an architectural millwork and custom cabinet company specializing in the manufacture and installation of custom woodwork for commercial construction projects. We are seeking an intelligent, motivated, and detail-oriented person who wants to build a career in estimating and project management. Prior experience in construction, estimating, or project management is welcome, but it is not required. A college degree is also not required. We place greater value on your ability to learn, solve problems, stay organized, communicate professionally, and follow through on responsibilities. What You Will Learn We will train the right candidate to: Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents Identify architectural millwork and cabinetry included within a project's scope Complete material and quantity takeoffs Obtain and evaluate pricing from suppliers Prepare accurate bids and project estimates Work with project schedules, deadlines, and changing priorities Coordinate with general contractors, architects, suppliers, shop personnel, and installation crews Track projects from the bidding stage through manufacturing and installation Eventually manage commercial millwork projects independently As your knowledge and abilities develop, this position is expected to grow into a project-management role with greater responsibility and advancement opportunities.
