Job Description Reporting into the estimating and preconstruction team, the Entry-Level Estimator will play a key supporting role throughout the bid and budgeting process. Assist with quantity take-offs from construction drawings and specifications Review plans, documents, and project requirements to support accurate estimates Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers while developing industry relationships Track and organise subcontractor pricing and proposal information Support the preparation of budgets, estimates, and bid submissions Coordinate with project teams to clarify scope, pricing, and schedule requirements Maintain estimating records and contribute to process improvements MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant For the Entry-Level Estimator we are seeking: Previous experience in construction estimating, project engineering, project coordination, or a related field Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Understanding of quantity take-offs and basic estimating principles Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with subcontractors and vendors Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction-related software is advantageous Motivated, eager to learn, and interested in building a long-term career in preconstruction and estimating What's on Offer Opportunity to join a stable and growing construction business Direct exposure to estimating, bidding, and preconstruction operations $65,000 - 80,000 base salary, depending on experience Mentorship and professional development from experienced construction professionals Clear progression path into a more senior estimating role over time Collaborative and team-oriented working environment Competitive compensation package based on experience
