Project Estimator - Modular Construction Elite Modular Housing | Timpson, TX Elite Modular Housing builds custom modular structures for some of the largest names in hospitality, energy, and data center infrastructure. We're hiring a Project Estimator to own the cost side of our bid process — turning blueprints and scope into accurate, profitable proposals. This is a high-impact role with direct exposure to leadership and a clear path to grow with a company that's expanding fast. What you'll do: Build detailed cost estimates for modular projects from blueprints, specs, and scope documents Quantify materials and labor through takeoffs and historical cost data Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing Partner with project managers, procurement, and production to validate forecasts Maintain and improve our cost database and estimating tools Identify margin improvement opportunities — your work directly drives profitability Support proposal and bid development end-to-end You're a fit if you have: Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Advanced Excel proficiency The ability to read blueprints and technical drawings (or are eager to learn) Strong written and verbal communication The ability to manage multiple deadlines without dropping balls Bonus points for: Construction or manufacturing estimating experience Modular or residential building background Experience with Buildertrend, ProEst, Revit, or similar What we offer: Competitive pay: $16/hr+ based on experience Full-time, stable position with a growing manufacturer Direct exposure to ownership and leadership Real growth path — we promote from within
