THE ROLE
The T&D Estimator I is an integral part of the electrical construction process and ensures competitiveness, profitability, and growth. The T&D Estimator I is responsible for preparing cost estimates for various transmission, distribution and substation electrical construction projects. Company Overview Established in 2013, High Country Line Construction, Inc. (High Country)- a subsidiary of MYR Group Inc.
- has successfully completed transmission, distribution, foundation, substation, and clean energy projects across the United States.
ABOUT YOU
Qualifications Minimum 2 years of estimating experience or relevant construction experience Preferred Education High school diploma or GED Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Proficient in analyzing construction and electrical drawings to accurately formulate an estimate Knowledgeable of electrical materials and methods of installation Proficient in Microsoft applications Excellent analytical and organizational skills Strong communication skills, including verbal, and written Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities as necessary Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others Self-driven with the ability to stay on-task for extended periods of time while working independentlyWHAT WE OFFER
