We're seeking an enthusiastic Construction Intern to support our project managers with tasks like estimating, coordinating logistics, and preparing material quotes. If you're currently pursuing a degree in construction management or civil engineering and are ready to grow, we'd love to meet you! Things You'll Do Assist project managers to plan and review quantity takeoffs, set up project estimates, field measurement for budgeting and billing, pick-up plans, and specifications, as well as traffic control Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings. Assist with daily business duties, including, preparing material price quotes, sampling and preparing submittal information for projects, coordinating logistics with customer orders, perform Viewpoint data entry. Input job data into estimating software. Learn about the construction industry through assisting managers. Track supply quantities for billing purposes. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Science degree program studying Construction management or Civil Engineering. Intermediate knowledge of construction industry. Good public relations and communication skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure, deal with budgets, and tight project schedules.
