CNC MACHINE OPERATOR 2ND SHIFT.
spanish fork, utah Posted 1 day ago Closes 5/29/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Temp to Perm 2:30 PM - 12:30 AM (Various Shifts Available) Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_175529 In this role, you will set up and operate advanced CNC grinding and machining equipment to manufacture high-quality, custom PCD cutting tools to exact engineering specifications.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the machining process on the second shift, from initial setup and program loading to final inspection. This involves configuring CNC machines including tool grinders, EDM, and laser cutters by adjusting offsets and aligning fixtures for custom tool production. You will manufacture a variety of precision tools such as inserts and drills, performing rigorous in-process inspections using micrometers and microscopes to ensure every piece meets our strict dimensional and surface finish standards. Beyond production, you will handle routine maintenance and collaborate with the team to troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain a safe, efficient workspace.
Working hours:
2:30 PM - 12:30 AM (Various Shifts Available)
