$60,000•$90,000 a year (Based on experience and commission options available) About Us Nova Lining Company is a trenchless pipe rehabilitation contractor serving the DMV and broader Mid-Atlantic region. We specialize in CIPP lining (small-diameter laterals through large-diameter mainline), cementitious and epoxy spray lining, manhole rehabilitation, CCTV inspection, hydro excavation, and related utility services for residential, commercial, and government clients. Position Summary Nova Lining is looking for a hands-on Estimator who can run our sewer camera daily, diagnose pipe conditions on-site, and turn that inspection directly into a sale. This is a residential-first role — you'll be meeting homeowners, walking them through what the camera shows, and closing CIPP lining and excavation jobs on the spot or with a fast follow-up proposal. You'll also handle commercial estimating and pitch in on government/JOC bids as workload requires. Responsibilities Run CCTV camera inspections daily on residential (and occasional commercial) sewer lines to diagnose pipe condition Translate inspection footage into a clear homeowner-facing explanation and recommendation (CIPP lining vs. excavation/replacement) Sell residential jobs directly — build trust on-site, quote pricing, and close deals during or shortly after the inspection visit Prepare estimates and proposals for residential CIPP lining, point repairs, and excavation/replacement work Prepare estimates and proposals for commercial CIPP, spray lining, and trenchless rehab jobs Support government/JOC estimating and bid preparation as needed (RFIs, spec review, pricing) Maintain PACP-standard documentation of pipe conditions and photo/video records for each inspection Coordinate with field crews and Project Managers to schedule and hand off sold jobs Track sales pipeline, close rates, and follow up on outstanding proposals Qualifications Experience operating a sewer/CCTV inspection camera (PACP certification a plus, or willingness to obtain) Sales experience or strong comfort closing deals directly with homeowners — this role is estimating AND selling Working knowledge of residential sewer systems, CIPP lining, and excavation/replacement methods Excavation/trenchless estimating experience preferred; commercial or government estimating exposure a plus Comfortable in crawlspaces, basements, and active job sites daily Strong communication skills — you're often the face of Nova Lining to a homeowner in a stressful situation Valid driver's license; daily travel across the DMV/Mid-Atlantic region Benefits Competitive base salary plus commission on closed residential sales Growth opportunity with an established, expanding trenchless contractor Company vehicle/equipment provided for camera work Collaborative team environment
