We specialize in the sales, installation, and motor replacement of electric driveway gates for residential properties throughout the Seattle metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, evaluating project opportunities, and supporting the sales process within the construction and specialty trades industry. This role requires a strong understanding of construction estimating, project evaluation, and negotiation skills to secure profitable contracts and build long-term client relationships. This is a field-based role. The company will provide a company vehicle for traveling to homeowners' properties for site evaluations and client meetings. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare accurate and detailed project estimates for electric driveway gates and gate motor replacements. Analyze project plans, site conditions, and homeowner requirements to develop clear and competitive proposals. Visit homeowners' properties to evaluate site conditions, access points, electrical requirements, and installation constraints. Collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to define project scope and pricing. Conduct negotiations with homeowners, vendors, and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing and contract terms. Assist with contract review to ensure alignment with project scope, pricing, and company standards. Support cost control efforts by monitoring budgets and identifying potential risks or overruns. Coordinate with installation and project management teams to ensure estimates align with scheduling and field conditions. Maintain awareness of material costs, labor rates, gate systems, motors, and market conditions affecting pricing. Provide estimating insights to support project planning, execution, and sales strategy. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, preferably within residential construction or specialty trades. Strong understanding of construction processes, site conditions, contracts, and cost-control methods. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Excellent negotiation and communication skills when working with homeowners, vendors, and internal teams. Construction site experience or hands-on field background is highly preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines. Valid driver's license is required. Comfortable driving a company-provided vehicle to homeowners' properties across the Seattle metropolitan area.
