Job Description
Responsible for preparing heavy civil estimates for public works projects, commercial and residential projects. Candidate should be capable of doing takeoffs for earthwork including cut and fills, grading, paving and concrete prep, foundation excavation and SOG prep, underground utilities including storm, sewer, water, irrigation, and electrical. Candidate should have experience working with others to understand productivity, gather supplier and subcontractor quotes, and submitting an accurate, professional, and competitive proposal to clients.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS 3
Years plus estimating earthwork and infrastructure projects Ability to read plans, research and interpret specifications Excellent communication skills, maintain strong customer, subcontractor and supplier relationships Proficiency in computer estimating and takeoff softwares Ability to interpret project schedules and develop task durations, labor productivity and needs Ability to work as a team with field supervisors, project managers on estimates, but also work independently.Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in construction management or similar field is preferred.Job Type:
