Job Description Job Description Job Description Vancouver, WA based General Contractor seeking highly motivated project Estimator to Estimate projects for work in multiple states (including Washington, Oregon, California, Utah, Ohio, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois), primarily in quick service or casual dining restaurant building types. This challenging position requires minimum 2+ years of experience, excellent computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, Blue Beam), strong communication and documentation skills, negotiating skills and the ability to multi-task and bid several projects at one time. Requirements Must possess 2+ years of construction Estimating experience preferably in the restaurant/food service industry. Ability to Solicit & Secure Subcontractors/Proposals. Proficient in Plan Reading, Material Take-Off's, RFI Writing. Effective communication skills are essential. Excellent oral and written communication skills and must have a proven track record of effectively dealing with Owners, Trade contractors, Vendors, Architects, Engineers, City officials and Franchisor. Excellent analytical, estimating and negotiating skills. Solid computer skills using MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, MS Project software & Blue Beam Communicate with internal and external leaders Flexibility to work evenings or weekends if circumstances require.
