English Driver's License Full Job Description Job Description:
Onsite Interiors LLC is an established trade contractor serving the Vancouver, WA and Portland metro area since 2016. We specialize in high-quality drywall and painting for large-scale residential projects (custom builds, multi-family) and commercial work. We pride ourselves on reliable execution, precise bidding, and strong client relationships. As our project volume grows, we are hiring a dedicated Estimator to build and take full ownership of our bidding pipeline. Working out of our local Vancouver office, you will lead our estimating setup: reading complex blueprints, performing digital takeoffs, creating standardized bidding templates, and actively tracking bids to help us win larger contracts. You will handle job leads, conduct site walks, perform material/labor takeoffs, and send out accurate, competitive bids for drywall and painting scopes.
Key Responsibilities:
Blueprint Takeoffs & Plan Review:
Read and analyze architectural blueprints, spec books, and addendums for large residential custom homes, commercial projects, and multi-family scopes.
Building Estimating Templates:
Help establish standardized unit-cost systems, labor production rates, and material templates for fast, accurate pricing.
Bid Proposal Creation:
Build complete cost estimates and formal bid proposals, including clear inclusions, scope exclusions, and margin protections for drywall and paint.
Pipeline Management & Tracking:
Manage the complete bid lifecycle—submitting proposals, tracking bid statuses, following up with General Contractors and builders, and closing new work.
Vendor & Pricing Strategy:
Request updated material quotes from local suppliers (e.g., Sherwin-Williams, drywall distributors) and factor in material pricing swings and waste factors.
What We Are Looking For:
Trade & Blueprint Expertise:
3+ years of experience performing blueprint takeoffs and labor/material estimating for drywall, painting, or related trade scopes (large residential or commercial).
Digital Takeoff Proficiency:
Strong hands-on skill with digital takeoff and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, OST, or advanced Excel models).
Department-Builder Mindset:
Proven ability to work independently, establish bidding workflows, and track bid win/loss rates from start to finish.
Driver's License:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local site walks and client meetings.
Bilingual:
English & Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.
What We Offer:
Base Salary:
$65,000.00 - $78,000.00 / year (commensurate with takeoff and template-building experience).
Dedicated Workspace:
Private office space provided in Vancouver, WA.
Job Type:
Full-time/ Part-time, In-person Pay:
$65,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year Application Question(s): How many years of experience do you have performing digital blueprint takeoffs for large residential or commercial trade scopes? Which digital takeoff software or tools are you most proficient in using (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, OST, Excel)?
