Estimator
  • Custom/Semi Custom HomesPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team specializing in custom and semi-custom homes.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids, and ensuring that all estimates align with project specifications and budgets. This role plays a critical part in the successful execution of residential construction projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed estimates for custom and semi-custom home projects based on project specifications and plans.

Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.

Review and adjust estimates as needed based on project changes or client requests.

Maintain a database of historical costs and use it to inform future estimates and improve accuracy.

Participate in pre-construction meetings and bid presentations to communicate estimate details and answer questions.

Ensure all estimates comply with local regulations and industry standards.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating for residential construction, specifically single-family homes.

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with clients and subcontractors.
