We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-driven Estimator to join our dynamic Wood Door Team. If you're eager to learn, ready to build a career, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this entry-level opportunity could be the perfect fit for you. No experience? No problem - we'll teach you everything you need to know! In this role, you will be responsible for estimating the wood door portion of commercial construction projects. You'll dive into blueprints, analyze specifications, and create accurate bids that help drive our success. Every project brings new challenges, blending the reliability of routine with the excitement of variety - making each day engaging and rewarding. You'll be supported every step of the way with training, mentorship, and the opportunity to build a lasting career.
What You'll Do:
Review and interpret detailed blueprints and project specifications. Create accurate project estimates using internal pricing tools and vendor quotes. Communicate with sales teams, project managers, and vendors to clarify details and resolve discrepancies. Maintain clear and accurate documentation within our systems. Manage deadlines efficiently while staying proactive and organized. Develop product knowledge across top wood door manufacturers and stay up-to-date with industry standards and trends. Work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-first culture.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) preferred, or 1-2 years of related experience/training - or a blend of education and hands-on experience. Military experience is considered as a substitute for relevant professional experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical skills and a sharp eye for detail. Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
