Estimator II Confidential Jackson, WI Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Phone communication Manufacturing facility experience Math Manufacturing SAP ERP Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Minimum Time in Equivalent Positions 3 years in a supervisory position in a manufacturing environment preferred - (job shop preferred) Required Skills Good problem-solving ability Good verbal and written communications skills Ability to relate well with people both in person and on the phone Good mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills Basic understanding of powder coating equipment, preferable Good understanding of job shop coating industry Knowledge of industry quality standards and instrumentation, preferred General knowledge in
ISO 9001-2000
procedures, preferable Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel or equivalent programs, preferable Estimating Learn the basics of quoting system. Learn how to load quotes. Learn how to calculate surface areas. Learn how to do a quick check of RFQ's as received and spot things to get info on: Powders that need prices, missing info Learn basics of how to get material estimates. Update old quotes. Be able to process quotes when the lead estimator is gone. Do surface areas + material estimate + work with other supervisory staff to get run rates. Be able to process quotes on for repeat type customers. Be able to do create estimates on his/ her own.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 46.0 per week
