Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to join their manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in evaluating manufacturing projects, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting production planning processes.

Pay:

$20.00- $30.00 /hour (D.OE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Review incoming requests for quotes (RFQs) to ensure information is complete and accurate.
• Identify missing details and gather the information needed to prepare reliable estimates.
• Review material and powder-coating requirements and obtain pricing as needed.
• Calculate surface areas and estimate material requirements for parts and projects.
• Partner with production and supervisory teams to determine production rates, costs, and job requirements.
• Prepare, enter, and maintain accurate quotes in the company's quoting system.
• Update existing quotes and process estimates for repeat customers and recurring jobs.
• Use historical job information and previous quotes to support new estimates.
• Develop the ability to prepare estimates independently after training.
• Step in to process quotes when the Lead Estimator is unavailable.
• Follow established estimating procedures and collaborate with the team to ensure quotes reflect actual manufacturing capabilities. Minimum Qualifications
• 3 years of experience in a supervisory or comparable role within a manufacturing environment preferred.

Work Schedule:

40 hr/wk Monday - Friday #gov2025 EQUAL
