Job Description

PROJECT MANAGER / ESTIMATOR
Commercial Casework Manufacturing
ARE YOU AN A+ PLAYER?
We're not looking for someone to simply fill a seat. We're looking for the person who sees the problem before it becomes a problem, owns the project from start to finish, communicates before being asked, and refuses to let "good enough" become the standard. If that sounds like you, keep reading. We're a commercial casework and architectural millwork manufacturing company looking for an A+ Project Manager / Estimator to join our team. This is a high-impact position with real responsibility. You'll be the person connecting customers, contractors, estimating, engineering, purchasing, production, and delivery, and making sure the details don't fall through the cracks. And we're willing to pay for A+ talent. Starting compensation is above current industry average, targeted at $80-95,000 yearly salary , based on experience, capabilities, and demonstrated performance. We're not trying to hire the cheapest person who can do the job. We're looking for the right person who can make the company better.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
You won't be babysitting projects. You'll own them. You'll start with Project Management responsibilities and take on Estimating duties as training progresses. From the first set of drawings through delivery, you'll be responsible for making sure the project is accurately estimated, properly planned, clearly communicated, and successfully delivered: Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, finish schedules, and project documents Develop accurate, competitive estimates and proposals using our software driven estimating process Understand scope, quantities, materials, hardware, and potential project risks Build project budgets, pricing, quotes, and change orders Work directly with customers, general contractors, architects, designers, and vendors Coordinate estimating, engineering, purchasing, production, and installation Develop and maintain project schedules Track costs, materials, scope changes, and project profitability Catch problems before they reach the shop or jobsite Review project details and shop drawings for accuracy Keep communication moving when multiple people are involved Make decisions and solve problems without waiting to be told what to do Manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail Build relationships that make customers want to work with us again The goal isn't simply to get projects out the door. The goal is to get them out the door right, on time, profitably, and with a customer who is happy to call us again.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM AN A+ PLAYER
Experience matters but attitude matters more. Experience in commercial cabinetry, millwork, casework, or construction is a strong plus, but not required. We're more interested in your ability to learn quickly, solve problems, take ownership, and deliver results. Direct experience with Innergy, Bluebeam, WebCab, or Cabinet Vision software is also a strong plus Our ideal candidate: Can confidently read architectural drawings and specifications Understands numbers, pricing, margins, quantities, and project costs Is highly organized and can manage multiple moving pieces Communicates clearly and proactively Doesn't disappear when a project gets difficult Can make decisions with confidence Takes ownership when something goes wrong Doesn't blame others when a problem needs solving Notices details that other people miss Asks questions when something doesn't make sense Is comfortable learning new systems and technology Can work independently without needing constant direction Brings positive energy to the workplace Takes pride in producing work they would put their name on
THE A+ DIFFERENCE
An A+ Project Manager doesn't wait for information; they go after it. An A+ Estimator doesn't just price what's on the page; they understand what's missing, what's unclear, and what could cost us later. An A+ employee doesn't just complete their assigned tasks; they look around and ask what needs to happen next. An A+ person doesn't just find problems; they find solutions. That's the difference we're hiring for.
WHAT YOU GET
We believe great people are worth investing in.
You can expect:
Starting compensation above industry median expected to land between $80,000 and $95,000 yearly salary based on experience and qualifications Competitive compensation based on experience and performance 401k matching, Health Insurance, Paid Time Off A challenging and rewarding role with meaningful responsibility A fast-paced, challenging environment where no two projects are exactly alike The opportunity to work on a wide variety of commercial projects A team that values accountability, communication, and doing things right Opportunities to grow your skills and your career A company that wants your ideas—not just your labor A workplace where initiative is noticed and rewarded The opportunity to make a real impact—not just manage paperwork
THIS JOB IS NOT FOR EVERYONE.
And that's intentional. This isn't a position for someone who wants to simply move projects from one spreadsheet to another. It's for someone who wants to own them. If you're looking for a job where you can keep your head down, do the bare minimum, and wait for someone else to solve the problems, This probably isn't the place for you.
But if you:
Take pride in your work. Like to win. Enjoy solving problems. Care about the customer. Pay attention to details. Communicate. Take ownership. Bring positive energy. And expect a lot from yourself. We want to talk to you.
BRING YOUR A-GAME.
