Waukesha, WI $60,000 Base Salary

+ Commission

+ Car Allowance Monday-Friday | Full-Time | Southeastern Wisconsin Territory Build Relationships. Develop New Business. Learn the Recycling Industry. Allied Resource Recovery (ARR) is a locally owned and operated recycling company that has served southeastern Wisconsin since 1938. We are looking for an experienced B2B salesperson to develop new commercial recycling customers and purchase recyclable materials from manufacturers, distribution centers, warehouses, printers, and other businesses throughout southeastern Wisconsin. Recycling experience is helpful—but not required. If you have a successful background in outside sales, industrial sales, manufacturing services, waste/environmental services, packaging, logistics, or another B2B environment, we can teach you the recycling side of the business. This is a true business-development position. You will prospect for new customers, make cold calls, conduct customer site visits, prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and develop long-term business relationships. What You'll Do

  • Develop new commercial recycling customers in your assigned territory in southeastern Wisconsin.
  • Prospect and cold-call manufacturers, distribution centers, warehouses, and other businesses.
  • Conduct customer site visits to identify recyclable materials and recycling opportunities.
  • Purchase recyclable commodities including metals, cardboard, paper, and other recoverable materials.
  • Learn commodity grades, markets, pricing, and recycling processes through on-the-job training.
  • Develop recycling solutions involving multiple material and waste streams.
  • Prepare competitive bids, proposals, and pricing for customers.
  • Negotiate purchasing and service arrangements.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Expand recycling programs with existing customers.
  • Maintain prospect and customer activity in our CRM system.
  • Work closely with operations and transportation to ensure outstanding customer service. What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of B2B sales, outside sales, business development, account management, or purchasing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and develop new business.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and approaching prospective customers.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and develop practical solutions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel. CRM experience is helpful.
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation for customer visits throughout southeastern Wisconsin.   • $60,000 base salary
