Job Description

Estimator 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars East Coast Metal Systems, Inc . (a division of Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal) is one of the nation's leading composite panel manufacturers. As a leading Eastern region contractor and manufacturer, ECMS specializes in all forms of architectural metals for small, medium and large commercial facilities to serve a wide range of customer needs. Top projects include major healthcare, higher education, and sports facilities as well as automotive, chemical and pharmaceutical facilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepares construction cost estimates by doing takeoffs and analyzing all costs associated with the work. Obtains quotes from vendors and subcontractors and ensures that scopes and qualifications meet project needs. Attends meetings and speaks with customers, professionals, suppliers and team members. Field measure and take core samples on existing buildings. Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintains quality service by following organization standards. Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies. Research upcoming projects Track bid volumes for reporting Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent experience 1- 3 years of construction estimating experience Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills Excellent communication skills
