Seal Coater

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seal Coater to join our team. In order to be considered for the position person's applying must have sealing and striping experience The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying seal coat product to customer's asphalt surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes, and maintaining safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where precision and craftsmanship are valued. Candidates with experience in sealing and striping will find this position particularly well-suited to their skills. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for sealing by cleaning, sanding, or masking as needed Operate spray equipment such as airless paint sprayers and other power tools to clean, apply sealants and striping markings. Use precision measuring instruments to ensure coating thickness, striping measurements, and to ensure quality standards are met Handle materials safely using appropriate materials handling techniques and equipment Conduct routine maintenance on sealing equipment, striping equipment, and tools Follow safety protocols Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency Requirements Proven experience with sealing and striping Knowledge the use of hand tools and power tools Ability to operate precision measuring instruments and understand basic math for quality control purposes Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Ability to work safely around machinery and airless paint sprayers Prior experience in sealing and striping asphalt services is desirable Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and safety standards
