Our company installs raised access flooring throughout the Southeast, with a large number of jobs on Redstone Arsenal. The lead installer will be responsible for leading a crew, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. This is a hands-on-position that requires strong construction skills, attention to detail, and the ability to travel to jobsites in various states. The ideal candidate does not necessarily need experience in raised access flooring but should have strong leadership skills, a proven track record of managing a crew, and a background in construction. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew installing raised access flooring systems Read and interpret shop drawings, layouts, and project specifications Layout work areas and establish elevations and reference points Communicate with projects managers, general contractors, and other trades on site Identify and address installation issues before they become larger problems Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Efficiently track materials and notify management of shortages/damages Qualifications & Experience Strong background in a construction related field Ability to lead a crew efficiently Strong attention to detail Ability to read and understand construction plans Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up consistently, and can be trusted to lead a crew without constant supervision. Experience with raised access flooring is a major plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong construction experience and the ability to learn the trade.
