In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will transform spaces, ensuring clients receive high-quality results that meet safety standards and industry best practices. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled construction professionals eager to showcase their talents in flooring installation, restoration, and finishing. •Performance Bonus Pay! Duties Measure, cut, and prepare flooring materials such as hardwood, vinyl, tile, epoxy, and carpet to fit designated spaces accurately. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute precise installations aligned with project specifications. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to install flooring, trim carpentry, fixtures, and cabinetry. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors to ensure optimal adhesion and longevity of the flooring. Conduct floor refinishing, buffing, water damage restoration, and surface preparation for seamless results. Follow construction plans and safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance with building installation safety standards. Collaborate with team members and clients to troubleshoot issues during installation and provide restoration or repair services as needed. Requirements Proven construction experience with a focus on flooring installation or related building material projects. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans. Skilled in using hand tools such as caulking guns, chisels, hammers, screwdrivers; and power tools including saws, drills, sanders. Experience with epoxy floor installation, tile laying, hardwood floor installation, vinyl floor installation, carpet installation, and floor refinishing. Ability to handle manual tasks safely including lifting heavy materials and working on elevated or uneven surfaces. Familiarity with building material installation safety compliance and site safety protocols. Additional skills such as water damage restoration, fixture installation, cabinet installation, buffing techniques, and handyman experience are highly desirable.
