Hardware operator will setup and install various types of hardware into sheet metal parts.

Reports to:

Production supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Install Pem hardware per manufacturers' specifications.
• Ability to setup Haeger hardware machines for different types of hardware.
• Ability to perform stud weld installation, spot welding, and tapping operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance per applicable procedures.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Meet production times.
• Maintain accuracy of jobs by clocking in and out.
• Maintain accuracy of time by clocking in and out.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.

Minimum Previous Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience operating sheet metal hardware installation machines (auto sert and haeger required).
• Knowledgeable in the types of hardware, nuts, studs, standoffs, etc.

Minimum Additional Training:

Other Skills:

• Ability to read and understand work instructions or blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to cross train in other departments as necessary.
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2015, AS9100, and

ISO13485

standards is preferred.
