Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Epoxy Floor Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing durable epoxy flooring systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces with high-quality, long-lasting flooring solutions that meet safety standards and client specifications. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and repairing concrete or subfloor materials to ensure optimal adhesion of epoxy coatings. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute flooring layouts and specifications. Mix epoxy resins and hardeners according to manufacturer instructions, ensuring proper consistency for application. Apply epoxy coatings using hand tools, power tools, rollers, brushes, and spray equipment to achieve smooth, even finishes. Perform floor refinishing tasks such as buffing, polishing, and sealing to enhance durability and appearance. Conduct water damage restoration processes when necessary, including surface cleaning and structural repairs before epoxy application. Follow all safety protocols related to construction site operations, handling hazardous materials, and building installation safety compliance. Experience Proven experience in epoxy floor installation within the construction or restoration industry. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Hands-on experience with a variety of hand tools and power tools used in flooring installation and surface preparation. Familiarity with building material installation including vinyl floors, hardwood floors, tile laying, carpet installation, and trim carpentry. Background in construction site management with a focus on safety compliance and hazard prevention. Experience in related fields such as water damage restoration or fixture installation is a plus. Ability to handle manual tasks involving manual handling of heavy materials safely and efficiently.
